Our Story

Campo Design was founded by Principal Designer Rita Edwards.

Rita’s approach to design has been shaped by a deep sensitivity to place. From cruise ship design in Florida to hospitality and residential interiors across Mexico, Quebec and British Columbia, each chapter has refined the way she sees and interprets space.

Now based in Victoria, her perspective is grounded in the landscape of the West Coast — it’s quiet beauty, natural materials and ever-changing light.

Central to her work is a belief in naturalness- in allowing a space to reveal what it wants to become rather than forcing an idea upon it. Her work explores a new sense of comfort. Interiors that feel relaxed and effortless. Familiar, yet unexpected. Spaces that hold a sense of memory and nostalgia.
